Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for shopping with Prakshivamart. We aim to deliver fresh, high-quality groceries. Due to the nature of our products, our return and refund policies vary based on product type.


1. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled only before they are processed/packed.
  • Once an order is packed or out for delivery, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Customers may choose to refuse delivery at the doorstep.
  • If an order is cancelled by Prakshivamart due to:
    • Product unavailability
    • Operational issues
      A full refund will be issued.

2. Product Categories

For clarity, our products are divided into:

A. Highly Perishable Items

Includes:

  • Fresh fruits & vegetables
  • Dairy products
  • Meat, fish, eggs
  • Fresh bakery items

B. Less Perishable Grocery Items

Includes:

  • Packaged food (rice, flour, pulses, snacks)
  • Beverages
  • Personal care & household items
  • Sealed/long shelf-life products

3. Returns & Refund Window

A. Highly Perishable Items

  • Return/Refund Window: Within 24 hours of delivery
  • Eligible only if:
    • Item is spoiled, damaged, or unsafe
    • Wrong or missing item delivered

⚠️ No returns accepted after 24 hours due to product sensitivity.


B. Less Perishable Grocery Items

  • Return/Refund Window: Within 3 days of delivery
  • Eligible if:
    • Product is damaged or defective
    • Wrong item delivered
    • Product is expired or near expiry
    • Item is missing

4. Non-Returnable Conditions

Returns/refunds will not be accepted if:

  • Products are used, opened, or partially consumed
  • Complaint is raised after the allowed time window
  • Items are damaged due to improper storage by the customer
  • Minor variations in size, color, or freshness of natural products

5. Refund Process

  • All refund requests are subject to verification.
  • You may be asked to provide:
    • Photos or videos of the product
  • Once approved:
    • Refund will be processed within 3–5 business days
    • Refund will be issued to the original payment method

6. Missing or Incorrect Items

If your order has:

  • Missing items
  • Incorrect products

Please report within:

  • 24 hours (perishable items)
  • 3 days (non-perishable items)

7. Delivery Refusal

  • You may refuse delivery if:
    • Items are visibly damaged
  • However, repeated refusal of orders may result in:
    • Account restrictions

8. Quality Assurance

We ensure:

  • Proper packaging
  • Hygiene standards
  • Fresh stock

However, due to the nature of groceries:

  • Slight variations in weight, size, or freshness may occur

9. Important Customer Responsibility

Customers must:

  • Check products at the time of delivery or shortly after
  • Store items as per recommended conditions

Prakshivamart is not responsible for:

  • Spoilage after delivery due to improper storage

10. Exceptions & Rights

Prakshivamart reserves the right to:

  • Approve or reject refund requests after review
  • Modify this policy at any time
  • Take action in case of misuse or fraudulent claims
